Monchooie

We were blessed with our beautiful, handsome and loving boy, Monchoo for almost 17 years. We brought him home with his adopted sister, Izzie, in 2009 from the Whatcom Humane Society. 

Monchoo was diabetic for 8 years. He did remarkably well, every day getting his two shots of insulin.  Unfortunately, his age caught up with him and he started to decline but he never gave up. 

I made the call to Dr. Claire McPhee inquiring about her services as my husband and I wanted to have a veterinarian come to our home to release our boy to heaven in a comfortable, peaceful environment. She called me back right away to discuss the situation with Monchoo and came over the next day. 

We could not have had his passing be more comfortable and as peaceful for him without the empathy and loving care Dr. Claire provided.  She was so kind and patient as she explained the process to us. 

Monchoo is and will continue to be missed every day by my husband, me and of course, Izzie. We know he now has his "angel wings" and is purring up above.
